Narrative-driven missions built for replayability and squad play [1]. The story is set after the Modern Warfare 4 Campaign: a power vacuum in Hajin and a new threat to unmask [2] [3]. Story Missions are one of the three ways to deploy: the Deploy menu lists missions to complete or replay, each with a briefing and rewards (usually high-value gear and DMZ Cash), a random-mission option and extra rewards for milestones; some stay locked until prerequisites are met [2] [3] [4].
