Mechanics

Killers ^[1]. Killing another player earns a Bounty at once; it shows on your Dog Tag with your Operator kill count and grows with every player kill across deployments; the guide says factors such as who fired first and being outnumbered count. At four player kills you become Wanted (Wanted status), and nearby Operators are alerted when you come close. Higher thresholds raise your Wanted level; the top ones are Most Wanted. Dying loses your Bounty and Wanted status. Other ways to shed a Bounty: exfil after another player took your Dog Tag and extracted with it, or pay it off with DMZ Cash at a Bounty Station ^{[1] [2]}.

Hunters ^[1]. At a Bounty Station (rugged laptops on the map) the list of Wanted Operators in your deployment is free; paid intel, dearer for higher Wanted levels, puts a circle on your Tac-Map that shrinks and updates faster the more Wanted the target is. At the top level the Killer's area may be visible to everyone. To collect, kill the target and extract with their Dog Tag; the payout follows their Bounty, with extra at maximum Wanted level.

The FOB's Bounty Leaderboard lists the top 50 of each; the Dog Tag Case keeps the tags you took. Hunting players raised notoriety in the June intel too ^[3]. Not the same as being Hostiles Kill Count and Marked for Death by AI forces.
