From the developers' 9 Oct Q&A, via a video recap [1]; most points were also reported by other accounts on X.
- Players. At launch a Hajin match holds up to 60 players: 20 squads of three (Hajin Exclusion Zone).
- Queueing. There is no separate party finder: you choose Story Missions, Dynamic Operations or Free Roam when you queue, and the matchmaker groups players who chose the same.
- Solos and duos. Matches aim to put solos with solos, duos with duos and trios with trios, but there is no guarantee. Squads can still truce, betray or assimilate, and an assimilated squad is capped at four players. The Tourniquet and the Stealth Meter were added with solos in mind. Squad Fill adds two allies if you want a full squad [2].
- Disconnects. After a crash or disconnect you can rejoin while that match is still running.
- Parties. In a party the FOB (Forward Operating Base) looks like the party leader's progress, while each station's menu shows your own progress and items.
- Operators. No skin toggle: DMZ lives in MW4, not Warzone, so Operators from older games do not appear.
- No solo-only or PvE playlist has been announced; a "Single Squad Mission" seen in testing was reported to be a developer-only playlist (reported, unverified).
